About Western

Our University

The campus of The University of Western Ontario is located in London, a thriving Ontario centre of more than 352,000 that combines the facilities of big-city living with the comforts of a small-town community. The campus itself offers numerous conveniences right within its gates. From any of the residences, you’re only a short walk to a bank, general store, medical clinic, pharmacy, gyms, a pool and other recreational facilities, a book store, eating and drinking establishments, a post office, films, live theatre, two art galleries, and a wide variety of student services.

In ALL of our residences, we offer:

  • professional Residence Life Coordinators who each live in residence
  • front desk staff available in various residences during the day and accessible by phone on a 24-hour basis
  • residence staff member responsible for each floor
  • smoke-free environment
  • in-room computer connections for each resident (RezNet)
  • full-time maintenance and caretaking staff
  • nearby parking facilities
  • card-activated washers and dryers
  • inexpensive local telephone service (and long distance options)
  • surrounding grass areas for sports and recreation
  • park-like settings with nearby sand volleyball courts
  • active residents’ councils/associations
