Western's Adopt-A-Street Program

Great Volunteer Opportunity!

Do you want to give back to the London community & collect volunteer hours to boost your resume? Join Western's Adopt-a-Street program for an easy way to help out & be recognized for your contribution. This program is available to Western students who want to show their spirit in their local community.

Bonus!

Western students who register by October 31st, 2011 for the Adopt-a-Street program are also eligible to sign up for Western's Excellence in Leadership Awards program (ELA). This program allows you to log all your volunteer hours, as well as other leadership roles, to work towards a certificate of recognition from Western's President! This is a great way to build up your resume and grad school applications.

Check out the ELA web site to learn more!

How do I get Involved?

Gather up your roommates or a group of friends to register for the program. You have the flexibility to select the area you want to clean up & set your own clean up times.

To register, simply e-mail each group member's name, UWO e-mail address, house address and the area your group wants to clean up to: ochc@uwo.ca
