Do you have any ice time available?

Do you have public skating and jogging?

Do have have skate sharpening and if so, how much does it cost?

Yes, we do offer skate sharpening services on-site. Simply come to the main office and we will contact a staff member to meet you at the skate sharpening room. Cost is $5.00/pair.

Where can I park?

Answer

Clients of the Thompson Recreation & Athletic Centre can park in front of our building. Overflow traffic (after 4:00 pm and weekends) can also park across the road at Elborn College.

Can I rent the facility if I am not a Western student?

Answer

Yes, we welcome both the internal Western community as well as the external community to use our facility.

How much does it cost to rent the ice?

The rates vary depending on the user, time, etc. You can access the information by clicking here.

Do I have to pay right away when I book the facility?

Answer

Yes, all bookings for the ice or track have to be paid at time of booking. We accept cash, debit and credit card payments.
