Overnight Accommodation
Overnight campus accommodation is available for all delegates attending the Brain, Behaviour & Cognitive Science conference at The University of Western Ontario in London Hall. London Hall features two or three lockable bedrooms with double beds; one and a half bathrooms, a common area, as well as a food preparation area complete with oven, microwave and refrigerator. Should you wish to share with specific people, please indicate roommates when you register on line. Accommodations on campus are available for the nights of June 18, 19, 20 and 21, 2008. Check-in is after 3:00 p.m. on your day of arrival and check-out is before 11:00 a.m. on date of departure. The deadline to register for campus accommodation is June 2, 2008.
London Hall is fully accessible by elevators to all floors and is air-conditioned for your comfort. The Front Desk is staffed 24 hours a day. The bedrooms are supplied with linen, towels, soap and drinking glass. Daily service is provided to the rooms by University staff. There is a well-equipped physical recreation room provided for weight and cardiovascular training as well as Vending machines for snacks and beverages. Pre-paid, card-operated laundry facilities are on each floor. According to University policy, smoking is not permitted in any campus buildings, including London Hall.
Keys
Please remember to return your keys to the Front Desk of London Hall at the time of check out. A charge of
$65.00 per set of keys will apply if the keys are lost or not returned at this time.
Residence Meals
Your meals will be in Essex Hall. Essex Hall has its own dining room and the Executive Chef offers a wide
variety of menu items at each scheduled meal.
Campus Parking
Complimentary parking is available to all overnight delegates attending the conference in the Huron Parking
Lot. Additional paid visitor parking is also available on campus. Directions to The University of Western

Special Needs Accommodations
There are wheelchair accessible units in London Hall and the campus buildings are barrier free.
Campus Recreation
The University Community Centre features an L-shaped, 25-meter indoor pool with diving well for fitness and
recreational swimming. Aquatic fitness classes are scheduled at various times throughout the day. The Centre
also has as a fully-equipped fitness room and an aerobics studio. Locker and towel service is available at the
UCC facilities. Passes are sold on a weekly or daily basis. Squash, racquetball and tennis courts are also
available on campus for the delegate’s use. One can take advantage of the many scenic trails along the Thames
River perfect for jogging, roller-blading or simply a leisurely stroll. Golf courses are located just minutes from
campus..
The University Community Centre
Located in the University Community Centre is the Book Store (with a full line of UWO souvenir merchandise),
postal outlet, computer store, hair salon, variety store, copy services, travel agency, film processing depot and a
wide variety of brand name food outlets in Centre Spot.

Full medical services are available at University Hospital, located on the campus of UWO. The main number is (519) 685-8500 and (519) 663-3197 for the Emergency Department.
